| Acer mono (synonym Acer cappadocicum variety mono, Acer pictum) is a rounded, deciduous tree with 5 to 7 lobed bright green, almost heart-shaped, leaves that turn yellow in autumn. Yellow flowers on erect umbels appear with the leaves but at times without the leaves. The cultivar, 'Variegatum', has variegated green lieaves with white and cream. Synonymous with Acer truncatum 'Akikazenishiki'. |
