| Albomarginatus is an evergreen shrub, with an upright habit and an umbrella shaped top. It can accept pruning to keep it smaller, or be trained as a tree. The leaves are glossy, dark green, edged with white and oval to round 1 to 2 1/2 inches long. Pest and disease problems seem to damper the possibilities. Watch for scale, thrips, or spider mites, as well as powdery mildew, where air is stagnant and humid. Locate plants in full sun to prevent mildew. |
