| Conical to columnar, deciduous tree with reddish-grey bark. Leaves are lance-shaped, toothed, deep-green and can be up to 8 inches long. Grown mostly for it's fall color: leaves turn brilliant shades of red, yellow and purple. Urn-shaped, small, white flowers are borne on long panicles, up to 10 inches long, during the summer, very showy and a welcomed surprise in the landscape. |
