| Bushy, suckering, deciduous small tree or shrub with smooth hairless branches and shoots. Leaves are pinnate to 18 inches long with 15 to 30 lance shaped, glossy, toothed, bluish-green leaflets, which turn brilliant red and orange in the fall. Yellow flowers are in upright conicle panicles to 10 inches long.
Withstands poor, exposed conditions and little water. Fantastic fall color. Bold texture, especially with fall color, a nice accent. |
