| Euonymus nanus var. turkestanis is a small erect shrub with slender branches. The leaves may be alternate, opposite or subopposite. In summer the foliage is an attractive blue-green, fall produces stunning brilliant tones. In May, tiny, purplish-brown flowers are borne on delicate stalks. The fruit is a pink, 4 chambered capsule, the exposed seeds are brown. Though it has brilliant fall color, it can appear straggly and unkempt. Easily roots from softwood cuttings.
