| These daylilies are a free-flowering, dormant diploid with slender scapes. Remontant, star-shaped flowers, 4 inches across, with recurved tepals. Time of bloom is early to mid-season. Height 28 inches. Daylilies in general have mostly clumping form, giving rise to clustered, lily-like flowers atop bare stems. Does best in full sun or partial shade in warmer climates.
Though daylilies are drought resistant, they flower better when given some water during bloom. They are relatively trouble free and grow in almost any soil, as long as it is well drained. Divide in early spring. |
