|Echinaceae tennisseensis is a fast growing, erect perennial. Ideal plant for low maintenance gardens. Profuse greenish-pink-centered flowers with upturned dark mauve petals, up to 4 inches wiede, atop hairy stems. This perennial blooms all summer and into fall. Stem leaves are linear. May be overrun by more aggressive plants. Superb in the perennial or mixed border. Good cut flower. May be divided in spring or fall.
Native of Southeastern United States. Plant in full sun; requires average soil.
