| Horsetail is an antique plant, having been around since the Carboniferous age. It gets its name from its bright green, leafless, segmented stalks that rise from the ground to about 4 feet in height. When used in gardens, it is an effective accent, BUT should be planted in a sunken container as this plant spreads and can be hard to get rid of. Plant in full to partial shade. Excellent by pool or in boggy areas. |
