| Hostas are good garden plants, thriving in all soils from pure clay to boggy ground and they usually get bigger every year. They don't seem to suffer from any significant diseases but their enemy at times are slugs and snails. The cultivar, 'Abiqua Recluse' has a large spread 30 inches high and 18 inches tall. Large, puckered, heart shaped yellow leaves with lavender flowers bloom on leafy stems 34 inches in the midseason. |
