| Erica vagans is a bushy, spreading, evergreen shrub, reaching 2 to 3 feet tall. It has dark green foliage and mauve, pink, or white, summer flowers. Native to Cornwall, Ireland. Various cultivars are available. Heaths require good drainage, preferably sandy soil with organic matter such as peat moss added, and most like acidic soil. They rarely require fertilizing, good compost is usually sufficient. Cut back after flowering. |
