| 'Alice Hoffman' is an upright shrub with arching 2 foot long stems, covered with small, semi-double flowers with rose-pink tubes and sepals and white corollas. The flowers first appear in mid summer and continuing to frost. Oval leaves are densely clustered in groups of 2 or 3, and are 1 inch long, with purple-tinged, bronze green color. Mulch heavily where winters are cold. Prune back broken or dead branches in spring, especially on plants that were left outside in areas with mild winters.
