| H. radicata is perennial weed with yellow upright flowers that resemble dandelions. Growth emerges from a basal rosette of dense, hairy leaves. Edges of leaves are toothed and slightly pointed. Flower stalks grow in groups of two to seven. When stems or flower stalks are broken, a milky juice is expelled. Seed reproduction. Appears in the U.S. from New Jersey to Florida, and west to Mississippi. |
