| Parrrotiopsis jacquemontiana is a deciduous upright shrub or small tree, slow growing. The foliage is dark green, with no real fall color, bark is a smooth gray. White flowers are apetalous, with showy yellow stamens, up to 1 inch across, blooming sporadically. Somewhat unusual and pretty shrub. The fruit is a capsule with glossy brown seeds. Not troubled by pests or disease. Prefers acid soil, but pH tolerant, and can take some shade. Native to Himalayas. |
