| This is a clump-forming, evergreen perennial with rosettes of somewhat spoon-shaped, deep-green leaves, up to 3 inches long. All summer long produces profuse cymes of conical, dark magenta-pink flowers. This is excellent for filling in spaces in rock gardens and walls, but must have superior drainage. A native of the Pacific Northwest, provide excellent drainage around root crowns to prevent rot. Plant high and work fine gravel around crown of plant. |
