| Medium sized, weeping tree has long, thin, dark green pendulous leaves and light colored bark that peels off in strips. Small, white flowers bloom from June to October from tiny buds. The foliage of nearly all species has a strong pungent odor similar to menthol. Well drained soil is preferable. Trees do very well planted from seed. Plant seeds in spring or summer keep shaded and water sparingly until 2 to 3 inches high. |
