| Kimberly is a selected male variety. It is a large, deciduous tree. It forms a rounded, broad spreading tree with dark green leaves. This variety does not change color in the fall. Prefers deep, moist, loamy soil, and thrives on limestone based soil. Very popular in Europe but has is not as much used in North America, due to the availability of native ash trees. Susceptible to ash borer. Native to Europe and Asia Minor. Cultivated for centuries. Various cultivars are available. |
