Ulmus hollandica
( Dutch Elm )
| Ulmus x hollandica is a group of trees resulting from the hybridization of U. carpinifolia and U. glabra. The classification of this group is somewhat confused. Not very useful as an American landscape tree. All are susceptible to Dutch elm disease and many formerly splendid specimen trees have died. |
