| Clumping perennial with yellow variegated, prominantly veined, pinnate leaves with irregularly divided leaflets, each 2 to 4 inches wide. Leaf undersides are downy. Small, 1/4 to 3/8 inch wide flowers are borne on branched stems in dense, 10 inch wide corymbs in summer. Makes a nice addition to a perennial border. Also known as Spirea ulnaria. Native to Europe and western Asia. |
