| Clematis montana 'Vera' is a vigorous, deciduous climber and belongs to AHS group 1. 2 inch wide solitary flowers, which are sometimes in held in cymes, are freely borne on last year's shoots from late spring to early summer. Leaves are bronzy green and divided into 3 to 5 toothed, lance-shaped or widely oblong leaflets, up to 5 inches long. C. montana is very hardy and is highly suitable for sites which are cold and exposed. Native to the Himalayas, Western & Central China. |
