| Low growing, mound-shaped, evergreen shrub covered with flowers from winter to early spring. Handsome needle-like foliage contrasts well with blooms. Profuse urn-shaped flowers grow along one side of the racemes. Ideal groundcover for slopes, rock gardens, or as a facer for shrub borders. Thrives in cool, moist, humid areas such as the Pacific Northwest. Prefers acid soil and requires good drainage. 'Westwood Yellow' bears yellow foliage and shell-pink flowers. |
