| Hostas are good garden plants, thriving in all soils from pure clay to boggy ground and they usually get bigger every year. They don't seem to suffer from any significant diseases but their enemy at times are slugs and snails.
The cultivar, 'Beatrice' is a small to medium plant with green, streaked, blotched white, cream or yellow leaves. Bell shaped lavender on straight leafy 24 inch stems in the midseason. It has been used as a pod parent for streaked hybrid. |
