| Nemophila menziesii is a trailing annual, 6 to 12 inches tall. Flowers are bell-shaped, 1 inch in diameter, with sky blue blossoms and a white center, very freely blooming. Foliage is pale green, lacey, and delicate. Used effectively with bulbs as a low cover. Likes cool, moist climates, not heat tolerant. Sow seeds in spring in colder regions, fall where winter is mild. Various cultivars are available. |
