| This semi-evergreen grass is native to Europe and north temperate Asia. The compact form yeilds a plentiful supply of cylindrical grey-green, spike-like flowers that turn beige with age. The leaves of this grass are rolled, and the overall size of the plant grows to about only 12 inches wide and 16 inches tall. Prefering chaulky, more alkaline soils, this plant does best where drainage is good and sun is full. |
