| Setcreasea pallida 'Purple Heart' is a creeping perrenial with 1' high stems that have a tendency to flop. Leaves are oval and pointed with vivid purple shading. Flowers are not showy, pale to deep purple. The bright colored foliage should be placed carefully or it may create a jarring effect. Should be pinched back after it flowers. Will recover from frost, does not look very good over winter though. Used as a groundcover, or bedding plant in mild climates or as an indoor plant. |
