| Acer buergerinum is a rare maple in North America and Europe. One of the most difficult to propagate, its a spreading, deciduous tree with 3 1/2-inch dark green leaves above and blue green on the undersides. Blooms in yellow flowers. The cultivar, 'Mitsuba kaede' is a shrubby tree with leaves of thin texture, bright green, three lobed and T-shaped. The bark gets corky with age. |
