| P.x chamaeleon, grows to 20 inches high, with leaves that are slightly hairy and flushed with red. Leaves are egg shaped to 4 1/2 inches long with a sharp tip. In the late spring, blooms into varying degrees of pink fading to creamy white with age, reddish pink stamen filaments, golden yellow anthers and red stigmata. Species does not show same vigour as its parents. Attactive plant and well worth growing. |
