| An epiphytic orchid, with one to three oblong, leathery leaves (3 1/2 inches long) and leafy stems. Green leaves can be purple-tinted. The flowers appear in summer, in terminal sub-umbels, and sometimes have purplish tones. Should be grown with epiphytic orchid potting mix in containers. Requires support for stems. High humidity and bright, filtered light recommended in summer. Full light and less water in winter. |
