| Unique evergreen tree reaching up to 6' tall and about 5' wide. Noted for its reddish-brown peeling bark and contorted branching structure. Eye-catching in the shrub border or as a specimen. Favors rocky habitat and is found in southeastern Europe, Turkey and Lebanon.
'Elfin King' is more compact than the species. It is highly tolerant of a variety of soils as well as beach wind. However, soil must be fast draining and water non-alkaline. |
