| H. cupressoides, a dense, twisted plant with branches of scale-like, egg-shaped mid-green leaves to 1/2 inh long. Mature plants bloom in masses of lilac-blue flowers to 1 inch long, in early and midsummer.
The cultivar, 'Boughton Dome' seldom flowers. It is a dwarf shrub with scale-like, pale green leaves to 1/4 inches on gray-green branches. Suitable for a rock garden. |
