|'Blue Hubbard', a popular subvariety of 'Hubbard' an heirloom variety squash, also known as 'Symmes Blue Hubbard'. 15 foot vines produce ripe fruits in 100 days, which measure 15 by 10 inches, and weigh 9 to 12 pounds. The skin is rough and warty, and dark green with some pale green stripes in the ribs. The flesh is light yellow in color, and well-suited for cooking.
