| A robust, long-lasting daffodil with nodding blooms. The solitary yellow flowers have reflexed petals that arch away from a long trumpet. Basal leaves are green and narrow.
Daffodils are excellent for naturalizing along wood's edge, or as an underplanting in the perennial border or ground cover bed. Planting depth is roughly 3 times the width of the bulb. If planted in well drained soil, daffodils are virtually disease and trouble free. Once finished flowering, allow foliage to flop over and dry out. Divide if flower production or size has dwindled. |
