| This productive tree can bear fruit at a young age, bears alternate years. Fruit is medium to large,crisp, light green with a red blush to completely red. Harvest time is early summer. Pollination is required for fruit production. Some varieties can set fruit by self-pollination while others require cross pollination. Good candidates for cross pollination are: 'Liberty', 'Ein Shemer', 'Dorsett Golden', 'Spartan',and 'Gala'. Careful early training, annual pruning and shaping are required to insure healthy and productive trees.
