Narcissus
( Albus Plenus Oderatus Narcissus )
| A showy daffodil with double blooms appearing late season. The fragrant flowers appear one per leafless stem, with white petals and small, red-rimmed yellow coronas. Erect basal leaves are green and strap-shaped.
Daffodils are excellent for naturalizing along wood's edge or as an underplanting in the perennial border or ground cover bed. Planting depth is roughly 3 times the width of the bulb. If planted in well drained soil, daffodils are virtually disease and trouble free. Once finished flowering, allow foliage to flop over and dry out. Divide if flower production or size has dwindled. |
| Important Info : Also known as N. poeticus 'Plenus'. |
