| Rounded, bushy shade-loving shrub with eliptic, pointed, glossy, dark green leaves. Small, white flowers are very fragrant and borne in clusters of five, followed by spherical, glossy black fruit. Excellent for planting along walkways or next to steps, along walls or below trees. Thrive in rich soil with plenty of organic matter. Add peat moss to the soil when planting. Looks best in deep shade, tends to sunburn easily. |
