| Free-branching perennial climber. Erect and shrub-like in youth, it can reach up to 70 feet tall or more. Leaves are dark green and eliptic with distinguishable veination. The slender, 5-lobed, pendent fragrant flowers bloom white and change to pink and then bright red over a 3-day bloom period in summer and autumn. |
