| Watsonia marginata is a cormous perennial with leaves that are sword-shaped, to 30 inches long. Numerous mauve-pink flowers, 3/4 inch long, bloom on branched spikes in early summer. Best grown where there is little or no frost. Protect with a dry winter mulch if there is frost. Rarely has problems with diseases or pests. |
