| Glandular and hairy perennial with loosely branched, medium green, lance-shaped leaves, up to 5" long. Summer-borne, Dianthus-like flowers are scarlet, to 1" wide, held in loose clusters. Grows to 16" tall and spreads 24". This delicate plant is easy to grow and is very suitable for a border or rock garden that does not get too much winter moisture. Native to Mexico and California. |
