| Primula bhutanica is a deciduous perennial that dies back to a large bud in winter and has spoon-shaped, finely serrated, white-mealy, crinkled leaves, to 4 inches long. Very short stalks bear umbels of 2 to 10 salverform, blue flowers with yellow eyes, 1 inch wide, early in the season. Deep or partial shade in humus-rich soil, avoiding excess winter moisture. 6 inches tall, 8 inches wide. |
