|Geniculata is an evergreen, marginal aquatic perennial with ovate to lance-shaped, gray-green leaves. Produces violet flowers in lax, pendent panicles. In general, Thalia is native to swampy areas from the Southeastern United States, down to Argentina and the West Indies. Leaves are oval and lance-shaped, atop long stalks, giving them a graceful appearance. Violet flowers have enlarged staminoides and form branched panicles. To keep plants tidy, we suggest that you regularly cut off browning leaves and flowers. Grow along the waters edge in full sun.
