|This upright, evergreen shrub bears unusual whorls of hooded flowers. Leaves are woolly, lance-shaped, leathery and gray-green, to 4 inches long. Excellent for the flower border. Mixes well with rock roses and lavender. If plant become too leggy, selectively prune back, no more than half the plant.
