| Acer mono (synonym Acer cappadocicum variety mono, Acer pictum) is a rounded, deciduous tree with 5 to 7 lobed bright green, almost heart-shaped, leaves that turn yellow in autumn. Yellow flowers on erect umbels appear with the leaves but at times without the leaves. The cultivar, 'Hoshiyadori' grows into a small tree or large shrub and has large leaves, that are 5 lobed, speckled and dotted white and cream. |
