| Spiraea cantoniensis Lanceata is a mounded shrub with gracefully arching branches. Foliage is bluish green, stays late into fall, it is almost an evergreen in warmer climates of the south. In mid spring, showy, white flowers are borne prolifically on upright corymbs. They can be nipped by late frost, prune after flowering. Fast growing, good for filling a space in a shrub border. Prefers full sun and well drained soil. Native to China and Japan. |
