| Desert King is a vigorous tree, heavy bearing, green with white flecked fruit, with violet-pink pulp. Ripening in early August. Ideal for eating fresh or preserves. Leaves are 3 or 5 lobed, from 4 to 10 inches long. Provides dense shade. Locate where ripe fruit will not drop on patios, terraces or drives. Tolerant of a wide variety of soils and loves heat. Does not need pollination. |
