| 'Roseum' is the European Snowball or Guilder-rose that has barren flowers which are extremely. The flowers in a apple green in early stages, change to white and cover the shrub in mid-May. Viburnum opulus is spreading shrub with arching branches, growing 8 to 15 feet high. The foliage is glossy dark green, sometimes turns yellow-red to purple in fall, though not consistently. The white flowers bloom in late spring, on flat topped cymes, with sterile showy flowers combined with inconspicuous fertile flowers.
